A:
The procedure is to remove the IP steering column opening trim plate from the instrument panel, release the upper and lower retaining tabs behind the instrument panel which secure the outside remote control rearview mirror switch, disconnect the rearview mirror switch electrical connector, and then remove the rearview mirror switch from the vehicle.
