2002 Buick Park Avenue MAP Sensor

You need to remove the left closeout/insulator panel, remove the accelerator control cable from the accelerator pedal lever, next squeeze the accelerator cable cover tangs and push the accelerator cable through the bulkhead, then remove the accelerator control cable from the retaining clip and the right slot on top of washer bottle, remove the accelerator cable from the Throttle Body lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.

You need to remove the rear air intake duct from the throttle body, remove the screws securing the front air intake duct to the air cleaner housing, then remove the Air Filter element, then inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, and water and replace it.

You need to remove the upper Intake Manifold and the thermostat housing, disconnect the electrical connector from the ECT, then remove the drive belt tensioner, the EGR valve outlet pipe, the lower intake manifold bolts, and the lower intake manifold, and clean and inspect the lower intake manifold finally.
