FAQ for Cooling Fan Shroud Repair

Q: How to remove the Cooling Fan and Shroud?
A:
You should drain the cooling system, remove the air cleaner assembly, the air resonator assembly, the inlet radiator hose, and the transmission oil cooler lines from the fan shroud, disconnect the fan clutch electrical connector, remove the fan clutch from the water pump and the mounting bolts from the upper fan shroud, lift and push the fan shroud inward to clear the filler neck on the radiator and remove the fan and the shroud.
