Q: How do you install the wheel cylinder?
A:
You can spread the top of the brake shoes apart, install the wheel cylinder, install the wheel cylinder mounting bolts, remove the cap, connect the brake pipe fitting, install the wheel cylinder bleeder valve and the brake drum, bleed the hydraulic brake system, install the bleeder valve cap, adjust the drum brakes, install the tire and wheel assembly and lower the vehicle.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the wheel cylinder?
A:
The procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly, remove the brake drum, clean any debris and contaminants from around the wheel cylinder, remove the wheel cylinder bleeder cap and valve, disconnect the brake pipe fitting, remove the wheel cylinder mounting bolts, spread the top of the brake shoes apart and remove the wheel cylinder from the brake backing plate.
