Q: What is the removal procedure for the thermostat housing (RPO LS4)?
A:
The procedure is to partially drain the cooling system, reposition the hose clamp from the water outlet housing, remove the radiator inlet hose, remove the water outlet housing bolts, remove the water outlet housing and O-ring seal, remove the thermostat and clean and inspect the water outlet housing O-ring seal mating surfaces.

Q: How do you install the thermostat housing (RPO LS4)?
A:
You can install the thermostat, the O-ring seal, and the water outlet housing, install the water outlet housing bolts and the radiator inlet hose, reposition and install the hose clamp to the water outlet housing and fill the cooling system.
