Q: What is the removal procedure for the fan clutch?
A:
You need to remove the upper fan shroud, install the J 46406 and the J 41240-5A, remove the fan hub nut from the water pump, lay the fan blade face down on a workbench, remove the fan clutch bolts, and separate the fan clutch.

A:
You need to drain the cooling system, loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamps, remove the radiator inlet hose clip, the air cleaner outlet duct, remove the engine sight shield and the radiator vent inlet hose, position the inlet hose clamp at the Water Pump, remove the inlet hose, the fan blade and the accessory drive belt, position the outlet hose clamp, remove the outlet hose, position the surge tank outlet hose clamp, remove the surge tank outlet hose, position the heater inlet hose clamp at the water pump, remove the heater inlet hose, the water pump bolts and the water pump and gaskets, and discard the water pump gasket.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the cooling fan motor-electric?
A:
You need to remove the cooling blade(s), the Cooling Fan Motor bolts, and the cooling fan motor(s).
Q: What is the removal procedure for the cooling fan and shroud?
A:
You need to disengage the radiator inlet hose clip, reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp, remove the surge tank inlet hose, disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the clip attaching the wiring harness to the shroud, open the engine oil cooler line clip and remove the cooler lines, remove the Cooling Fan Shroud bolts and the cooling fan and shroud.
