First, you need to drain the coolant. Then, please disengage the auxiliary water pump inlet and outlet hose from the auxiliary water pump and disconnect the auxiliary water pump electrical connector. Finally, you should remove the lower fan shroud bolts, push the fan shroud rearward of the vehicle and press the auxiliary water pump push retainers and pull the auxiliary water pump rearward of the vehicle.

Q: How to remove the Water Pump (LY7, LLT)?
A:
First, you need to drain the cooling system, remove the generator drive belt and use EN 46104 to retain the water pump pulley. Then, please remove the water pump pulley bolts, the water pump pulley, the water pump bolts, and the water pump. Finally, you should remove and discard the water pump seal and clean the water pump sealing surfaces.

First, you need to install a new water pump seal, the water pump, and the water pump bolts. Then, please install the water pump pulley and the water pump pulley bolts, and retain the water pump pulley. Finally, you should install the water pump pulley bolts, and the generator drive belt and fill the cooling system.
