You should raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the left tire and wheel assembly, clean all dirt and foreign material from the brake hose and the brake pipe fittings, disconnect the brake hose from the crossover pipe fitting, lift the retaining clip over the end of the brake hose, remove the brake hose retainer from the brake hose, the brake hose from the frame assembly, the brake hose to caliper bolt from the brake caliper and the brake hose from the vehicle, place a shop towel on a hard surface, remove the gasket from the bolt and the 2 copper brake hose gaskets and install a rubber plug into the brake hose to caliper bolt hole of the brake caliper.

You should raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the right rear tire and wheel assembly, clean all dirt and foreign material, disconnect the crossover brake pipe fitting from the intermediate brake hose assembly, cap or plug the brake pipe fitting end, lift the retaining clip over the end of the brake hose, remove the brake hose retainer, disconnect the brake pressure modulator valve (BMPV) brake pipe fittings from the intermediate brake hose assembly, the brake hose to caliper bolt from the brake caliper and the brake hose from the brake caliper, place a shop towel on a hard surface, remove the gasket from the bolt, the copper brake hose gaskets, the intermediate brake hose assembly mounting nuts from the studs and the intermediate brake hose assembly from the vehicle.

You should release the brake pipe, section the brake pipe, measure the length of the pipe, cut the brake pipe squarely, remove the sectioned brake pipe, select the appropriate size of brake pipe and tube nuts, strip the nylon coating, chamfer the inside and outside diameter of the pipe, install the tube nuts, loosen the die clamping screw of the J 45405, select the corresponding die set, install the die halves, place the flat face of an unused die, insert the prepared end of the pipe, remove the unused die, rotate the hydraulic fluid control valve clockwise, the body of the J 45405 and the hydraulic fluid control valve counterclockwise, the hydraulic fluid control valve clockwise, the body of the J 45405 and the hydraulic fluid control valve counterclockwise, loosen the die clamping screw, remove the dies and pipe, inspect the brake pipe flare, shape and install the new pipe, bleed the hydraulic brake system and inspect the brake pipe flares.
