Install the ECM into the ECM mounting bracket. Connect the ECM harness connectors. If a new ECM is being installed, the ECM must be programmed. If equipped with a manual transmission, perform the clutch pedal position sensor learn procedure.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Engine Control Module?
A:
Using a scan tool, retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil. Record the remaining engine oil life. Disconnect the ECM harness connectors. Disengage the ECM bracket mounting tabs.
