01/11/2022Q: How do you remove the Valve Rocker Arm Cover-Left Side?
A:
You need to remove the intake manifold cover and the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer, disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the ignition coil wire harness, remove two engine harness clips from the ignition coil bracket studs, reposition the engine harness, remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils, the ignition coil bracket studs, the ignition coil bracket, and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose, loosen the valve rocker arm cover bolts and remove the valve rocker arm cover and then remove and discard the old gasket.

01/11/2022Q: How do you install the Valve Rocker Arm Cover-Left Side?
A:
You need to install a new rocker cover gasket and the valve rocker arm cover, tighten the rocker arm cover bolts, install the PCV hose, apply thread lock to the threads of the ignition coil bracket studs, position the ignition coil bracket onto the rocker cover and install the ignition coil bracket studs and the spark plug wires to the ignition coils. Then you can position the engine harness, install two engine harness clips to the ignition coil bracket studs, connect the engine harness electrical connector to the ignition coil wire harness, and install the CPA retainer and the intake manifold cover.
