You need to clean the cylinder head valve spring seat area, lubricate the valve guide and valve stem oil seal with clean engine oil and install the valves into the proper port, the valve stem oil seal, the valve spring, and the valve spring cap, compress the valve spring using the J 38606 and install the valve keys. Then you can remove the J 22794 from the spark plug port, hand start the spark plug, install the spark plug wires at the ignition coil and the spark plug wire to the spark plug, inspect the wires and install the rocker's arm.

Q: How do you remove the Valve Stem Oil Seal and Valve Spring?
A:
You need to remove the rocker's arm, disconnect the spark plug wire at the spark plug, loosen the spark plug 1 or 2 turns, brush or air blast away any dirt or debris from around the spark plug, remove the spark plug, install the J 22794 into the spark plug hole and attach an air hose to the J 22794. Then you can apply compressed air to the J 22794 to hold the valves in place, use the J 38606 to compress the valve spring, remove the valve stem keys, carefully release the valve spring tension and remove the J 38606, the valve spring cap, the valve spring, the valve stem oil seal and the valve.

You need to remove the rocker arm cover, the number one cylinder spark plug, the rocker arm bolts, the rocker arms, the rocker arm pivot support, and the Pushrods and clean and inspect the rocker arms and pushrods.
Q: How do you install the Valve Lifter Oil Manifold?
A:
You need to place the service gasket onto the Valve Lifter oil manifold, install the valve lifter oil manifold to the engine and the valve lifter oil manifold bolts, connect the engine harness electrical connector to the oil pressure sensor, and install the intake manifold.
Q: How do you install the Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod?
A:
You need to lubricate the Rocker Arms and pushrods with clean engine oil, the flange of the rocker arm bolts with clean engine oil, and the flange or washer surface of the bolt that will contact the rocker's arm. You can install the rocker arm pivot support, the pushrods, and the rocker arms and bolts and rotate the crankshaft until the number one piston is at the top dead center (TDC) of the compression stroke. In this position, the number one cylinder rocker arms will be an off-lobe lift. Then you can rotate the crankshaft 360 degrees and install the number one cylinder spark plug and the rocker arm cover.
