Q: How to remove the Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad?
A:
First, you need to remove the seat cushion, the seat cushion bracket, and the seat latch bezels, and use the J 36796 to remove the push pins on the underside of the seat bottom. Q: How to remove the Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad?
A:
First, you need to remove the 3 seat switch bezel screws, the 4 nuts retaining the seat pan to the seat adjuster assembly, remove the clip from the front outboard seat pan stud, release the J-strips on each side of the seat cushion, and release the front/rear J-strips. Then, please remove the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) electrical harness from the seat pan, remove the seat electrical harness and the wire harness fasteners from the seat pan, disconnect the seat cushion heater electrical connector, and separate the hook and loop retaining strips. Finally, you should remove the hog rings from the bottom rear side of the cover, remove the 11 hog rings from the top side of the cover, remove the seat cushion trim cover and pad from the seat frame, remove the seat module retaining screw, the seat module, remove the seat cover from the seat cushion, and remove the seat cushion from the seat pan.
