A:
You should first raise and support the vehicle and place a drain pan under the oil drain plug. Then, you should remove the oil pan drain plug and allow the oil to drain completely. After that, you should install the oil pan drain plug and use a 32 mm (1 1/4 in) socket on the hex on top of the Oil Filter cap, or an oil filter wrench on the outside diameter of the oil filter cap. Finally, you should remove the oil filter cap and filter and filter from the cap.
