Q: How do I install the Hood Primary Latch Release Cable?
A:
You will need to transfer the string to the end of the new Hood Release Cable and route the string and the cable into the passenger compartment. Remove the string, seat the hood release cable grommet into the cowl, and then connect the cable to the hood release handle. Install the carpet retainer, and pull the string and the cable into the engine compartment. Remove the string and install the cable from the hood latch. Lastly, install the hood latch.
