About Rocker Arm Stud

The rocker arm studs have two options, pressed or threaded both go into the top of the cylinder head, and the rocker arms are connected to the top.

Rocker arm stud function

The rocker arm stud that is pressed or threaded can withstand the force produced by the horsepower and can be modified. The press-fit rocker arm comes equipped with many engines straight from the factory. You can also upgrade to a threaded rocker arm stud and add a stud girdle to give the component more stability.

Common problems with a faulty rocker arm stud

A faulty rocker arm stud can cause the vehicle to make clicking noises continuously or it can break.
