About Turbocharger Up Pipes
The turbocharger up-pipe allows exhaust gases to go into and exit the turbo.
Turbocharger Up-pipes operationThe Up-pipe is a vital component that links the exhaust manifold with the turbo. Exhaust gas is allowed to enter the turbo from the up-pipe, but the gases leave from the down-pipe. The up-pipes that come in stock are restricted and the exhaust gases can't travel easily causing the turbo to not work correctly. Once you modify the up-pipe more gases are allowed to flow quickly so the turbine can rotate faster.
