- Q:I sent a previous inquiry about a different part number earlier this evening - please disregard it. I am converting my exhaust to the EX-style exhaust. I have purchased a direct-fit eBay aftermarket "shorty" header and a Magnaflow 49483 catalytic converter pipe and want to know if the 18229-S5D-A01 flexible exhaust gasket is the proper gasket for an OEM EX manifold (D17A2 engine).
