    Q:
I have a 2015 Chrysler 300 S and I want to purchase and switch out the Electronic Shifter Module (ESM). It is the shifter module that displays P R N D S. Not P R N D L. Please provide correct part number.
By Customer with vehicle: 2015 Chrysler 300
    A:
Your 300s is equipped with steering wheel shift controls. the only other switch shown applies to cars without that sales code. so at the least changing the switch will likely negate the steering controls. and more likely the transmission control module will likely not recognize the new switch. there are plenty of problems you are going to face for what appears a simple change.
