You can inspect the coil spring upper and lower insulators, position the spring with the rubber insulators into the vehicle, raise the jack stand, position the lower control arm to the knuckle, install the nut and bolt, tighten the lower control arm to support nut and bolt, install the shock to the lower control arm nut and bolt, remove the jack stand, install the stabilizer shaft link, install the rear tire and wheel assembly and lower the vehicle.

A:
You can install the upper and lower rubber insulators to the coil spring and install the coil spring.

Q: What is the proper way to install the Strut, Strut Component, or Spring?
A:
You can extend the strut to its limit of travel, install the hollow bumper and dust boot, install the strut into the spring, assemble the upper spring seat onto the strut shaft, align the flat with the strut-to-knuckle mounting bracket, assemble the top mount onto the strut shaft, align the flat 180 degrees from flat on the upper spring seat, install the strut shaft nut, hold the strut shaft, tighten the shaft, release the tension on the J 45400 and remove the strut assembly.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the coil spring?
A:
The procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the rear tire and wheel assembly, remove the stabilizer shaft link, position a jack stand underneath the lower control arm, raise the jack stand, remove the lower shock bolt and nut, loosen the lower control arm, remove the lower control arm to knuckle nut and bolt, lower the control arm and remove the coil spring and insulators.

A:
You can install the strut assembly in the J 45400, compress the spring, remove the strut shaft nut, lower the strut, remove the upper mount assembly, the strut dust shield, and the hollow bumper, and inspect the spring for damage.
